The firms Bermuda office serves an international client base. The Tax practice provides a full range of tax compliance, planning and advisory services to the focused needs of offshore insurance companies, investment funds, international executives and trusts.
Due to continued growth the firms Bermuda office currently seeks a Tax Manager to support the firm in maintaining their reputation as a leader in U.S. Tax services both in Bermuda and globally.
You will be responsible for managing and coordinating the delivery of U.S. tax services, including review of U.S. federal and state tax returns prepared by their local team; You will advise clients on complex tax issues, transactions, and structuring; You will develop and maintain deep technical knowledge in areas of relevance to the clients, including the U.S. domestic and international tax provisions applicable to insurance companies and / or investment funds; You will develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and assist in the development of new business;
Must have Five years of relevant experience, including a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental U.S. tax concepts relevant to corporations and / or partnerships; Will need to have previous experience as a Tax Manager with a public accounting firm; Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the U.S. technical concepts relevant to the taxation of insurance companies, investment partnerships, and / or multinationals and foreign entities;
CPA designation required; Masters degree in accounting or taxation preferred;
