Kutztown Dining Services is looking for creative, outgoing students to join our team as Dining Ambassadors. This paid on-campus position is a great opportunity to gain real-world experience in marketing, communications, and customer engagement — all while having fun and building your resume. The Kutztown Dining Services Ambassador is responsible for assisting the Kutztown Dining Marketing Team with marketing initiatives while providing customer service. The ideal candidate must be a student at Kutztown University. We are looking for outgoing students who enjoy being part of a fast-paced environment. You will gain valuable sales and marketing experience by communicating program benefits to your peers and working fun events. By being a Kutztown Dining Services Ambassador, you will have the opportunity to utilize your skills to sell meal plans, assist in promotion development and execution, social media content creation, and event implementation. Ultimately, you will get to help engage your campus peers in a new and different way as well as enhance their campus experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Help plan and host dining events and tabling activities 
• Promote meal plans through peer-to-peer outreach 
• Assist with social media content creation (Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook) 
• Support orientation and admissions events like Open Houses and Accepted Student Days 
• Conduct student surveys and gather feedback 
• Represent Dining Services with professionalism and enthusiasm 
• Assist with digital and print marketing (Canva, signage, etc.) 
• Complete basic office tasks and uphold Aramark safety policies

Qualifications

• Current Kutztown University student 
• Majoring in Marketing, Communications, Social Media, Digital Design, or a related field (preferred) 
• Outgoing, reliable, and self-motivated 
• Strong communicator who enjoys working independently and as part of a team 
• Interest in social media, marketing, or sales 
• Detail-oriented with excellent customer service skills 

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
