Your Role
As a Mechanical Superintendent, you will oversee mechanical field operations from project kickoff to closeout. You'll lead teams, manage schedules, and ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and to VMG's exacting standards.
Key Responsibilities
Direct and supervise foremen and field crews on-site.
Ensure projects meet schedule, budget, and safety requirements.
Coordinate logistics, material delivery, and project phasing.
Review and interpret MEP drawings and specifications for field execution.
Manage RFIs, change orders, punch lists, and quality control measures.
Foster strong working relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
Qualifications
~5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on mechanical or commercial installation projects.
~ Master's License a strong plus.
~ Expertise in HVAC systems, including VRF systems.
~ Proven ability to interpret MEP drawings and construction documents.
~ Knowledge of construction processes including RFIs, change orders, and scheduling.
~ Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
~ Familiarity with tools, methods, and best practices in HVAC installation.
~ Ability to travel to job sites throughout the DMV region.
