About the Internship: This is an exciting opportunity for someone who’s passionate about weddings, social media, content creation, and creative marketing. As our Marketing Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience in the events industry, learn from a team of professionals, and get an inside look at what it takes to promote and manage a successful wedding venue. What You’ll Be Doing: Assist with planning and executing marketing campaigns Create original content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest & more Support blog writing on wedding trends, planning advice, and venue features Capture behind-the-scenes content at weekend events Help manage website updates and support SEO efforts Participate in venue tours, styled shoots, and open house events Assist with promotional design materials and digital advertising Research industry trends and competitor marketing strategies Capture behind-the-scenes content at events on the weekend Assist venue manager during events with event set up, event needs, & event breakdown What We’re Looking For: A strong interest in weddings, events, and social media marketing Excellent writing and communication skills Detail-oriented with a creative eye for visual storytelling Familiarity with platforms like Canva, Instagram Reels, and TikTok Self-starter with the ability to work independently and with a team Currently pursuing (or recently completed) a degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field Weekend availability to capture behind-the-scenes content at events Perks of the Role: Gain real-world experience in the wedding and events industry Build your content portfolio and marketing resume Work at one of Virginia Beach’s most iconic waterfront venues Be part of a passionate, creative, and fun-loving team Flexible schedule with weekend opportunities available To Apply: Ready to dive into the world of weddings and events?
